A
lot of Americans suffer from thyroid issues like libido loss, ear
ringing, weight gain, hair loss, brittle nails, constipation, fatigue,
cold sensitivity, headache, insomnia, dry skin, cold feet and hands,
dizziness, infections, hoarse voice, joint pain and more.
65% are overweight, 27% obese. The weight problems are especially evident in women with hypothyroid.
Coconut
oil is saturated fat so we are not damaged from oxidation stress.
Unlike veggie oils, this oil does not need enzyme so it prevents T3 and
T4 hormones to convert and get processed. No need for breaking down with
enzymes too.
The liver is the organ where oxidation damage can
happen from rancid oils, changes to T4 into T3, removed long chain fats
and changing from medium chain fat into rebuilding membranes in cells
and making more enzymes.
Sharon said she used coconut ever since September 2002 and during this time her life changed. She got more weight but health improved a lot. Hypothyroid means taking Cytomel and Synthroid for a long time, with bad results. Other changes were soy removal, removal of trans fats sugar and occasional cleanse.
The thyroid meds were stopped by her doctor and she got insomnia and more energy. She used to sleep a lot before and the weight was going up only in the last 3 weeks but it went down. The goal was just health and when Donna wanted to remove coconut, she felt fatigue.
Sharon added she was sluggish, gained weight and metabolism were the same. Even with starving for 5 days all was the same. She took coconut oil, melted fat and lost even 20 pounds. Her daughter was chubby but she too lost 10 pounds.
