One of the most common foot problem among everyone – and that’s cracked heels, for some can be a cosmetic, but for others an even painful issue. In the latter case, cracks are usually obvious and they can be really painful – there have been cases reported when people would literally not be able to walk at all.
Apart from the dry and thick skin, many of the other symptoms involve peeling of the skin, itching, inflammation, and redness.
Luckily, you can prevent the things from happening all in all – or at least from getting deeper and causing pain on your feet – and also bleed – by taking proper precautions.
Lack of moisture, long-standing on hard floors, unhealthy diet, dry air, wrong shoes, improper foot care, aging, as well as skin disorders like psoriasis, eczema, and calluses, or diabetes and thyroid disease – these can all be a factor for cracked heels.
But worry no more – we have a simple and easy to prepare remedy that’s gonna help you out for good.
Preparation:
Grind 10 aspirin tablets to powder and to that powder you’ll need to add 250 ml of 70 % rubbing alcohol. Make a solution by stirring and let it sit for a day or two.
Once you have it, shake it well and soak a cotton or gauze pad in it every night before going to bed and apply it on your heel, wrap it around with plastic wrap or foil, and put a sock on top of it.
Once you wake up in the morning, rinse your feet with lukewarm water slowly pat them dry with a towel. Then, apply glycerin or some greasy foot cream. If you wanna achieve even better results, then you can try exfoliating your heels with a foot scrubber before applying the magical foot cream.
The cracked skin on your feet will slowly but surely peel and disappear after as little as 10 treatments. This miraculous remedy has also been shown to be quite effective in several cases of varicose veins, in which case there’s less pain after its application.
